You can now access the internet in nearly any area of the world, either by cable, wifi or satelite. It has completely changed the way we live. Being able to send electronic messages which we now call emails has helped tremendously with communications. It is send instantly, you do not have to wait a couple of days or more for the person to recieve the message like you have to with an letter sent in the post. It saves time and money. We also now have access to limitless sources of information that we can find on many different websites.

On major change that happend with the internet is you can now look up maps and addresses without opening a map or having to buy an addresse book. There are so many improvements in life thanks to the internet. You can if you want buy all your shopping online. And you can even get it sent to you. You can buy clothes, objects and even food. There are even auction websites, such as Ebay, where you can put anything you want to sell and there will always be someone to buy it.
The internet is also used by gamers, now nearly ever computer game has an online mode, where you can play with users from all around the world. Some games are even only online based, such as world of warcraft, which is a fictional world were you create a character and have to complete quests in order to gain levels, power and money. Such games have become very addictive, and many players have lost all social life.
It is also used to monitor computers, cars, people and many otherthings. Nowerdays nearly every mobile phone can connect to the internet. So that you can check your emails, get the weather forcast, update your twitter and so on. People have become so dependend on the internet for their every day life that they would feel completely lost in an environement without internet.
